DNA tests show that five strangers are The Rock's half-siblings, says report
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson apparently has five new half-siblings.
According to a report in Sports Illustrated, five total strangers have discovered that they are actually related after some sleuthing and DNA tests.
Lisa Purves, Paula Parsons, Trevor Edwards, Adrian Bowles and Aaron Fowler reportedly came together after discovering that late Canadian wrestler Rocky Johnson - Johnson's dad - fathered them.

It means Jumanji star Johnson would be their half-brother.

Talking to the magazine about their lives, the five shared that they didn't have a relationship with their dad, who died in 2020.
They only found out about their connection after exploring their parentage and having DNA tests over the years.
One of the siblings – Purves – set out to make a documentary about absent parents, then someone suggested she make it about herself.
Now 53, she says she was “embarrassed that my father didn’t want me”.

She also shared that she stayed in Canada partly to avoid bumping into her famous half-brother, as he works in the same industry.
“I never wanted to run into Dwayne and have anyone know I was his bastard sister,” she said.
But in 2017, Johnson went to Vancouver to film the movie Skyscraper and she couldn’t escape from all the buzz.
It triggered a bout of depression, but Purves explained that it wasn’t about the actor.
“I only see that our dad loved him and not me,” she said.
Parsons shared that she spoke to her father on the phone but they never met.
“We just want to be recognised,” said the 58-year-old. “We sat on the back burner forever. (Rocky) was our dad just as well as Dwayne’s.”
Actor Johnson was born in 1972 to Rocky and Ata Johnson.
It isn’t known if he knows about the five half-siblings.

The five have made it clear that they don’t blame the star in any way and that he is not responsible for his dad, and Purves said: "Dwayne doesn’t owe us anything."
Yahoo has contacted representatives for the star for comment.
