CSI actress Lisa Sheridan found dead at her home aged 44

Lisa Sheridan has been reportedly found dead at her New Orleans home, aged 44. The CSI actress’ managers told People magazine of her passing on Wednesday.

“We all loved Lisa very much and are devastated by the loss we all feel,” he said.

“She passed away Monday morning, at home, in her apartment in New Orleans. We are waiting for a coroners report on cause of death.”

“The family has unequivocally confirmed that this is not a suicide. Any suggestion to the contrary is absolutely, 100 per cent unfounded,” he continued.

Tributes have poured in for the late actress, including from her co-star in the 2015 movie Only God Can, Donna D’Errico.

D’Errico wrote in a Facebook tribute: ‘I am devastated by this loss. I had just spoken with her and everything seemed great and she seemed happy and in good spirits. Everyone who knew her loved and adored her. Goodbye and goodnight sweet angel…I will miss you terribly. Please send up prayers for her family.’

While filmmaker Michael Dunaway wrote on Twitter: “She was beautiful, obviously, and an immensely talented actor, and a wonderful friend, but more than anything she really did radiate this impossibly bright energy and life.”

Sheridan’s acting credits include roles in CSI: NY, The 4400, Halt and Catch Fire, Still the King and The Fosters.

She was in a three-year relationship and engaged to actor Ron Livingston (Office Space, Sex & The City) from 2000-2003. It is believed they met on the set of the 2000 indie filmBeat.
