Passenger terrified as driver U-turns on motorway

A terrified woman passenger is heard screaming after a motorist makes a U-turn on a motorway in eastern China - and starts to drive in the wrong direction.

The shocking video, filmed in Zhenjiang city earlier this month, shows a car suddenly turning around and driving towards the upcoming traffic on the Shanghai–Nanjing Expressway.

Other drivers are heard honking their horns as they try to avoid the car.

The female passenger screams: "Are you insane? What are you doing?"

According to reports, the man U-turned twice on the motorway and has been charged with endangering public safety.
