David Bowie's Volvo 262C sells for £160,000 at auction

A gorgeous Volvo coupe formerly owned by the legendary David Bowie has sold at auction in Switzerland for over £160,000.

The 1981 car is a 262C – a Volvo 200-series based coupe, styled by Italian design house Bertone. It was intended to compete with luxury coupes in the American market, but its Italian/Swedish natured appealed to a certain niche buyer worldwide.
