Filmmaker creates incredible ad to help girlfriend sell her car

At first glance, this high-quality piece of filmmaking appears to be the work of a car manufacturer – perhaps a vintage advert from the 1990s. But look closer and you'll spot that this car ad isn't all it seems.

It's the work of Los Angeles-based filmmaker Max Lanman, who decided to take the unorthodox route to helping his girlfriend, Carrie Hollenbeck, sell her 1996 Honda Accord. Instead of merely listing the car on an auction site, in the classifieds or through word of mouth, he created this incredible advert to turn the public's attention to the aging coupe.
