Traffic officials became puzzled on Thursday when a large spider appeared to descend from the sky above Livingston in Scotland.
At first they believed it to be a large balloon, but soon realised it had eight legs and was indeed an arachnid.
Thankfully it wasn't a huge monstrous one, but a normal spider that had crawled across the CCTV camera lens that overlooks a stretch of the M8 motorway.
Making light of the situation, Traffic Scotland tweeted that a large spider was "invading" the M8 motorway, and to "Run as fast as you can".
The tweet was especially humorous thanks to lots of emojis being used and also a tag for people traveling to Edinburgh just in case they missed the apparently "huge" spider.
