Two YouTubers have taken £300,000-worth of Mclarens off-road in California.
As one of the guys says: "A lot of people have road tested the Mclaren 570GT, but has anyone taken the car out of its elements?" This is effectively the purpose of their trip.
The presenters are Mike Tornabene and Zac Mertens – a self-procalimed 'amateur stuntman' – are the hosts of YouTube channel GnarPM. They take the supercars to Lone Pine, California, in the Eastern Sierra region of the Sierra Nevada desert to go rallying.
The 570GT is Mclaren's third 'Sport Series' car, and is the company's most road-biased and luxurious Mclaren yet. It has a 3.8-litre V8 with 562bhp, and is capable of 0-60mph in 3.3 seconds with a top speed of 204mph.
To top the video off, they take the Mclarens rallying at night through the desert –putting spot lights on the supercars, which were borrowed from Mclaren Beverley Hills.
