Watch road rage trucker get whipped by a belt

Footage has emerged of a violent fight on a busy London street after what is believed to have been a road rage-rage incident.

A lorry driver can be seen violently punching through the open window of a silver Ford Focus and a man then jumps out of the car.

He takes his belt off then tries to whip the truck driver. The trucker then punches the other man to the ground, with a bin being flung out of the way during the fight.

The lorry driver also unsuccessfully tries to get the car driver in a headlock. A cyclist then bravely intervenes, momentarily stopping the men from fighting.

After another brief violent scrap, both men get back into their vehicles and drive off.

Police said they were called to the scene on Friday, 30 June at 7:12pm to reports of a disturbance on New Cross Road in South East London following a collision between a lorry and a car.

A spokesman for the Met said: "Officers carried out a search and no one was found to be injured.

"There was no trace of the vehicles or people involved.

"Anyone wishing to call police about this incident can call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
