Dashcam footage has emerged of the moment a heroic trucker helped bring an unconscious van driver to a stop.
Russell Daglees was driving his HGV on the A47 near Dereham, Norfolk, when he noticed a driver slumped at the wheel of his van while it was still moving.
Mr Daglees's heroic actions can be seen when he uses his lorry to sandwich the moving van up against the central reservation, bringing the van to a stop.
Other members of the public, including an off-duty paramedic, can also be seen jumping out of their vehicles to assist the unconscious driver, who is believed to have suffered a stroke while at the wheel.
Since the event, which happened in January this year, Mr Daglees has been awarded a prestigious award by the Royal Humane Society.
Mr Daglees told BBC News: "I feel very, very humbled by it."
According to police, the van driver is making a full recovery.
