A very rare opportunity has arisen to own your very own Formula One racing car.
The 2013 Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 W04, driven by both Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg throughout that year's season, is up for sale for an undisclosed sum.
Hamilton and Rosberg took four podium positions in this car - which is in concours condition – which was used throughout the season across more than 14 different countries and racing circuits.
All-Time Stars – a Mercedes-Benz specialist in Stuttgart, Germany – advertise the car as being a 'gem to purchase.'
The Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula 1 team originally presented the car on February 4 2013 at the Jerez de la Frontera Circuit.
It was a totally new design for the year, consisting of a new front wing made up of five separate elements, and a new Coanda exhaust-system at the rear of the car.
It also featured a new nose cone that was not 'stepped' like its predecessor, again improving the aerodynamic qualities of the car.
It also features improved suspension over the previous model, with thrust arm suspension at the front and strut road suspension at the back.
The most important part lies under the engine cover where you find a naturally aspirated 2.4-litre V8 engine that can churn out an eye-watering 819bhp, a colossal amount of power considering this car weighs just 642kg – that's less than an average dairy cow.
With such an incredible history, this car is sure to be worth several hundred thousand pounds. A 2007 Red Bull F1 car driven by Mark Webber sold in 2014 for £270,000.
