BMW has announced two special editions of its X5 M and X6 M SUV models.
Called the Black Fire Editions, both cars come with black paintwork, black 21-inch alloy wheels and Merino Black leather inside with Mugello Red accenting to the middle of the seats and lower half of the dashboard.
As well as this there are also aluminium shift paddles behind the steering wheel – which is covered in Alcantara.
Both cars come with the same twin-turbocharged 4.4-litre V8 powertrain -producing 567bhp. Both can also crack 60mph in just four seconds and also produce a whopping 750Nm of torque – enough to propel both cars to an electronically limited top speed of 155mph.
The black theme continues with carbon-fibre on various parts of the car, including the exterior mirror caps.
Other goodies packed in include fully electric, heated memory seats and even a system called MDM that allows the wheels to slip slightly giving you some wheel spin that is controlled to give you an even sportier thrill.
Both cars are effectively more hard-core versions of the already super-sporty X5 M and X6 M, which sit at the top of the Bavarian companies SUV tree – comfort and practicality with sports car performance.
Prices have not yet been released but they are expected to cost more than the £93,410 for the X5 M and £96,410 for the X6 M. The cars will be available to order internationally from August this year.
