Dutch Moto3 rider Bo Bendsneyder might just be one of the unluckiest guys in racing, as he was handed a dreaded Did Not Finish (DNF) at the race in Assen this weekend when he slid over the line on his belly.
A final lap tussle with a fellow rider on the last chicane saw tenth-place Bo ejected from his saddle at speed and subsequently sent hurtling on his stomach across the finish line.
Unfortunately, MotoGP rules state that a rider must be in contact with their machine in order to finish the race, so sliding Bo was handed a DNF and zero points.
But Bo, being a good guy, decided to take to Twitter to thank the Dutch fans, writing: "I want to Thanks all the fans here in Assen! You are amazing! Shame that I Finished like this but I hope you enjoyed the race."
Bo is currently 17th out of 36 riders in the Moto3 classification, so has plenty of catching up to do over the coming races.
