A nasty crash was captured on camera last Sunday, when a motorbike collided with a black Porsche Cayman GT4 on the Nurburgring.
The footage shows the rider slightly away from the rumble strip as he enters the bend and the Porsche on his left side.
As they enter the turn, the Porsche and rider meet with both attempting to hit the apex of the corner, with the Porsche seeming to attempt an overtake on the inside of the motorbike – something that isn't allowed at a track day
The biker is suddenly thrown from the impact and lands first on the tarmac before rolling over several times onto the grass verge where he is clearly in a bad way.
The slow motion footage shows the moment of impact, which forces the rider to lose hold of the bike as it slips out from under him.
Luckily he is dressed in a helmet and the correct biker gear so comes out of the crash relatively unharmed, apart from an injured collarbone.
Various people come to his aid and medics quickly see to him. He is currently still in hospital.
