BMW driver lucky to be alive after 110mph crash

The driver of this BMW will be counting his lucky stars after he walked away from a 110mph crash at the Watkins Glen International race track in New York.

In-car footage captured the moment the 1991 BMW 318is shot of the track at a tight bend, before colliding with the safety barrier at the end of the gravel trap.
