Good Samaritans stop thieves from stealing motorbike

Dramatic footage has emerged that shows the moment a pair of brave Good Samaritans came to the rescue of a biker who was being attacked by moped-riding thieves.

The biker – who is clad in red and black leathers – can be seen trying to wrestle one of the crooks off his motorbike, before the thief lashes out with a punch.

A woman then steps in to try and help the man, but is violently shoved away by an accomplice. However, another man can then be seen pulling the thief off the bike, before the two criminals sprint off up the street towards another waiting rider.

It is unclear whether anyone was seriously injured in the attempted hijacking.

Attacks like this one, which took place in Sutton, south London, are becoming more and more common in the capital. Over the past year, more than 9,900 moped scooter and motorcycle thefts have been reported in London alone.
