Most people have come to terms with the fact that they'll probably never own a supercar.
However, a Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 that just popped up for sale on eBay could be yours for the price of a family hatchback. Naturally, there's a catch.
This particular Lamborghini burned to the ground in a devastating fire.
It's currently holed up at a salvage yard in America and is available for $16,850, circa £13,000.
Should you fancy a non-crispy Murcielago, you're looking at more than £150,000. That'll get you access to a 6.5-litre V12 engine that makes more than 600bhp and catapults the beautifully designed Italian supercar to a top speed of 210mph.
Unfortunately, this particular version will only go as fast as the tow truck you strap it to.
All that's left is the shell and frazzled remains of the interior as well as one tyre, which has been unceremoniously dumped in the cabin. It's not all bad news though – as the seller rightfully points out, the doors are still included.
The interior has been gutted by the intense heat, with only the seat shells remaining, as well as the steering wheel hub. One photograph shows the wing mirrors have melted into the door frame.
It's up for sale at less than 10 per cent of the price of a working model, so if this looks like more than 10 per cent of the original car it could almost be considered a good deal...
