Sutton Bespoke unveils CS800 Mustang
Tuning brand and designer of custom-made vehicles Sutton Bespoke has revealed their latest creation – the CS800 Mustang.
Based on the latest Mustang model fitted with the 5.0-litre V8 engine, the specialist division of luxury car dealer chain Clive Sutton took the standard £38,095 model and gave it a modified body and added a supercharger to the engine to produce 800bhp.
Ford Performance Recaro sports seats, a carbon-fibre dashboard and Sutton badging throughout the interior have also been added.
Although it looks like a Mustang from afar, it is clear that there has been a lot done to change the look of the car and parts that make the CS800 more unique have also been added.
Sutton added a deep carbon-fibre front splitter and side skirts, Sutton's 'Super Snake' bonnet design with an air 'scoop' inlet, a carbon-fibre boot-lid with flip-up spoiler and a sculpted rear end that house the newly-installed exhaust system's tips.
To help improve the performance Sutton fitted a Stage 2 Whipple supercharger, upgraded intercoolers, a new exhaust system and a larger throttle body to help improve the output of the base model from 410bhp to almost double that at 800bhp. A Ford Performance short-shift selector was also added to the six-speed manual gearbox for improved gear changes.
The model was revealed for the first time at the Top Marques show in Monaco this week, where the CS800 was displayed alongside its less powerful sibling – the CS500 Mustang Convertible, which still produces 440bhp and has been equally modified.
