BMW has pitted the M4 CS against a team of skydivers to promote the release of the new model.
The M4 CS's driver had to lap the track before the skydivers landed, displaying some great control around the corners and putting his foot down on the straights.
Thanks to its upgraded 460bhp twin-turbo six-cylinder engine, the new BMW beat the crew of three comfortably and was then able to take them for a spin in the new sports coupe.
Slotting in between the M4 Competition Pack and the track-orientated M4 GTS, the M4 CS gets to 60mph in 3.8 seconds and on to a limited top speed of 174mph.
Also fitted with a seven-speed M-specific double clutch gearbox, the M4 CS has lapped the demanding Nürburgring in 7 minutes 38 seconds, which puts it among the fastest sports cars to complete the famous German circuit.
Pricing for the new coupe model is yet to be announced, but it is expected to be in the region of £90,000 – slotting it in between the M4 Competition, which costs around £57,000, and the M4 GTS, which has a price tag close to £122,000.
