Porsche has provided a rare glimpse into the depths of its museum, showcasing five of the rarest and most unique production models ever built.
In the video, part of a new weekly YouTube series, Dieter Landenberger, head of the Porsche Historical Archive, takes viewers on a tour of these incredible machines.
First up is a 964 Turbo S, finished in Speed Yellow – a colour that was specially developed for that particular model. It is one of just 86 ever made.
Landenberger then showcases a 924 Carrera GTS (one of 50), a 911 GT1 (one of 21) and a 911 SC/RS (one of just 20).
The rarest vehicle, however, is a 1953 356 America Roadster. Only 16 examples of this particular model were ever built. This is the car that went on to inspire the 356 Speedster and RM Sotheby's estimates that it is currently worth a staggering £511,873.
