Silverstone Auctions returns to Race Retro today and tomorrow, with 95 classic and sports cars set to go under the hammer.
The Classic Car Sale features some of history's finest automobiles, including a right-hand-drive 1974 Ferrari Dino 246 GT, which is headlining the event.
It features the rare and sought-after factory-fitted flared wheel arches and Campagnolo wheels. This is the first time the Ferrari has been put up for sale in 22 years, and it is expected to fetch between £300,000 and £350,000.
Also going under the hammer is a 1983 Lamborghini Countach LP500S that holds 12 British Outright Speed records. It is one of just 25 made, and it is thought it will fetch at least £325,000.
Another Lamborghini is also up for auction this weekend – a 2010 Murcielago LP 670-4 SV. The V12 supercar produces 663bhp, and is expected to be sold for between £240,000 and £280,000. It is finished in Arancio Leonis, and its cabin is upholstered in Alcantara.
Punters also have the opportunity to get their hands on a 1956 BMW 502 V8 saloon, which is just one of 12 right-hand-drive examples to be built. It was a regular at the St Mary's Trophy at the famous Goodwood Revival event, and has been driven by the likes of Marc Surer and Alan Jones. It is being offered with an estimate of £30,000 to £35,000.
Fans of more modern Bentleys will no doubt be interested in the 2006 Azure 6.7 Convertible that will be auctioned at the event. It is finished in Dark Sapphire Blue, and is in an 'almost as new' condition. The low-mileage example is expected to sell for between £135,000 and £155,000.
The Classic Car Sale event is being held at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire.
