Dubai is trying to ease the stress of commuting on its congested roads with the introduction of a self-driving hover-taxi.
While only a concept at the moment, the taxi has been tested within the city, and it could become a reality as early as July.
Passengers using the taxi will have to pick a destination pre-take off and the taxi will fly them there at a height of up to 1,000ft, and speeds of up to 60mph. The taxis will be able to fly for 30 minutes at a time, but journeys will be a lot quicker than in a conventional taxi because of the lack of hover-traffic.
Although the hover-taxis will be fully autonomous, they will be monitored from a ground control centre.
Dubai's leaders want a quarter of the city's transport to be autonomous by 2030.
