Justin Bieber's modified Ferrari 458 is going under the hammer

Updated:

A heavily modified Ferrari 458 owned by Justin Bieber is going up for auction.

The supercar is a 2011 coupe model, which was fitted with a Liberty Walk 'wide-body' kit by West Coast Customs, the tuning shop featured in MTV show Pimp My Ride.

Adding to the car's unique look is a stunning 'Frozen Blue Chrome' exterior wrap and custom 20-inch three-piece Forgiato Dieci-ECL alloy wheels.

The custom work continues on the inside, with black and white leather upholstery designed by Bieber, and a 2,000-watt 10-inch subwoofer.

Despite the extensive aesthetic modifications, the engine remains unchanged. Therefore, the 4.5-litre V8 engine makes 570bhp, which is fed to the rear wheels by a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Last year, Bieber was left without his car for almost a month after forgetting where he parked it. The pop star had left the Ferrari with valets at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills before a night out with friends.

However, the next morning he couldn't remember where he'd parked it and gave one of his assistants the job of tracking it down.

And it appears that wasn't the only mishap the star had with his car. According to a history check, the 458 was hit from behind in a crash that didn't set the airbags off.

Bieber's Ferrari will go under the hammer at the Scottsdale Arizona auction, which is being held between January 14 and 22.
