The Grand Tour mocks BBC in episode six trailer

Updated:

Clarkson and co are causing trouble again. And this time, it's a subtle dig at their former employer in the trailer for episode six of The Grand Tour.

The trio aren't afraid of causing a little controversy with their new show, having already 'killed the Queen', and demonstrated how to smuggle an illegal immigrant into the UK.

The trailer for this Friday's Amazon Prime show has just gone live and in the opening scene a red Ford Mustang is spotted driving past London's Cenotaph war memorial.

While seemingly innocent, the clip is actually a subtle dig at an ill-judged stunt performed by the new Top Gear cast in the same location in March.

The BBC and presenters Matt LeBlanc and Chris Evans were heavily criticised after Ken Block took to Whitehall in his 845bhp Mustang 'Hoonigan', performing a series of drifts and donuts.

Following this swipe at Top Gear, the trailer shows Clarkson, Hammond and May getting into the Christmas spirit in snowy Finland.

The red Mustang then features again, as Hammond races against Clarkson in a Ford Focus RS.
