Ducati has pulled the wraps off the 'Supermid' 959, a new special edition of its revered 959 Panigale.
The 'junior' in the Panigale family, the 959 is an impressive bike in its own right, and this latest edition only bolsters that with a host of Ducati Performance accessories.
Just 25 of these limited-edition models will be seen on the UK market, each of which will be individually numbered by laser etching on the steering head.
The limited-edition model will be available in two specifications. The first, the Ducati Performance option, will boast a titanium Akrapovic under-engine racing silencer exhaust system and lower fairings, a billet aluminium race tank filler cap, racing articulated levers, brake lever protection, a plastic seat cowl and a Ducati Corse oversized screen.
The Carbon pack, meanwhile, will add a carbon ignition switch cover, carbon shock cover, carbon heel guards, carbon and alloy tail tidy, carbon front sprocket cover, billet aluminium handlebar weights, carbon fuel tank protector, carbon shark-fin chain guard and carbon rear mudguard.
While the Ducati Performance option will retail at £15,995, the Carbon pack will cost an extra £1,000.
It is a mid-capacity supersports bike, featuring a fairing-design that replicates that of its bigger brother, the 1299 Panigale. Boasting a 955cc V-Twin desmodromic engine, the standard model weighs in at 200kg, produces 157bhp and can reach a top speed of 175mph.
Ducati has not revealed how these additions will affect weight or performance figures.
