Three desirable Peugeot 205 GTis from the 1980s are up for sale at the Classic Car Auction December Sale, which sees over 100 other cars offered.
The increasingly popular hot-hatches are expected to bring collectors and Peugeot enthusiasts to the auction, as this trio goes up for sale.
The hype for these three vehicles is due to a fellow 205 GTi being sold earlier this year, which with only 7,000 miles went for £30,938, a world record sale for the model.
First under the gavel will be a 1989 example fitted with a 1.6-litre engine and with over 112,000 miles on the odometer. Following a full engine overhaul and a fully refurbished interior and exterior, this 205 GTi is as close to original as it can be. Lot 958 has an estimate between £5,000 and £7,000.
The second 205 GTi up for sale is a 1988 model fitted with a 1.6-litre engine and has 56,000 miles on the clock. This model lacks the important service history but had been in safe storage for 20 years and has had only two owners. Following its time off the road, it has been fully recommissioned, and is offered at £5,000.
All are being offered at the December Sale for Classic Car Auctions, with the sale taking place on December 3rd.
