Property developer pays £7.3 million for car number plate

A Dubai property developer has made history after spending the equivalent of £7.3 million on a number plate.

The single-digit plate, which features only the identifier 'D' and the number '5', was snapped up at a government auction by Balwinder Sahani for the staggering figure of 33 million dirhams.
