If you've ever referred to your old banger as prehistoric, you may want to think again.
A Flintstones-inspired motor has surfaced on eBay with an asking price of only £600.
The car, which features a wooden body, and leopard print soft-top, is based on the vehicle driven by Fred Flintstone in the hit cartoon series The Flintstones. The steering wheel and seats are trimmed in tiger print fabric and a soft toy Dino even sits atop the bonnet.
Produced by Hanna-Barbera, the show about Fred, his family and friends first aired in 1960 and was set in the Stone Age.
Unlike Fred Flintstone, however, the buyer won't have to propel the car using their legs. The working model is based on a 2006 Fiat Punto chassis and reportedly drives well, but does not have an MOT.
The buyer states that it "Would be ideal for a gala, fete, or as an advertising vehicle." They add that it is "well put together and looks amazing".
It's not the first time such a wacky car has gone on sale. In 2011, a working wooden replica of the famous Flintstones mobile went on sale in Paris for €2,200. This example boasted a 1.6-litre petrol engine and was reportedly road-legal, with 80,000km on the clock.
So if you fancy a bit of Stone-Age automotive amusement, here's your chance. Yabba Dabba Doo!
