If you're a fast Ford fan, 2016 is a good year. The company has doubled down on performance cars and has a suite of vehicles to make enthusiasts go weak at the knees.
Two such cars are the Ford Focus RS and Mustang. The third-generation RS and comes with a 2.3-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine and finally gets all-wheel drive. It makes 345bhp and has incredible grip levels.
The Mustang, on the other hand, has been around in various forms for about 50 years, and packs a 5.0-litre V8 with 425bhp. It puts its power down through just the rear wheels, meaning it's at an immediate disadvantage off the line.
The question is, can the extra grunt make up for a slow start or will the plucky Focus's clever all-wheel drive system catapult it to victory? There's only one way to find out: Drag race!
