A motorist in Crimea plunged into the sea after driving off a car ferry before it had docked.
The incident happened in the city of Kerch in Crimea. CCTV footage shows a number of pedestrians and cars waiting on the deck of a ferry as it approaches a dock.
One of the cars then shoots forward up the exit ramp and falls off the end. Shocked bystanders run to the edge to see that the car had ended up in the water.
According to local news reports, the driver was hoping to avoid long queues and wanted to be first in line to exit.
People still on the boat threw a safety ring into the water to pull the driver to safety. The accident ended up causing massive delays as the position of the car meant the ferry could not dock until it was moved.
