Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather is well known for his fleet of exclusive cars. Now he's adding another motor to his enviable garage with the Kode57, which he has bought for $2.5 million.
The striking supercar has been styled by former Pininfarina designer Ken Okuyama, whose CV reads like a list of the most important cars ever made. He has had a hand in the design of the Ferrari Enzo, Ferrari 599 and the Porsche 911, to name just a few.
The Kode57's extreme design makes it look like a concept car destined for nothing more than being paraded at car shows, but five will be built. According to Okuyama, its style pays homage to cars designed in 1957, hence its name.
The extreme car is powered by a 6.0-litre V12 engine that's available in two states of tune. The standard powertrain makes 612bhp, but buyers can opt for an upgraded version with 692bhp.
Mayweather's incredible collection of cars includes a Ferrari 458, Lamborghini Aventador and Rolls-Royce Phantom.
