This gorgeous, humungous beast is the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6. It's a concept car built to wow the crowds at this year's Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in California.
And wow the crowds it certainly shall. Before we get on to that sleek, futuristic design, here's a little context for what you're looking at: the 6 is nearly 20 feet long!
From the front, it looks like a Mercedes-AMG GT has been turned up to 11 and then some. There's that rearward positioning of the cabin and long bonnet, which then drops into an enlarged interpretation of the classic Maybach grille.
It's when you look at the rear that things become more unique. The cabin stretches backwards, giving the car an almost teardrop-like profile.
As if the exterior wasn't wild enough, the interior is pure fantasy. Described by Mercedes-Maybach as 'a synthesis of intelligence and emotion', it looks utterly fantastic with its sweeping lines and digital displays.
Perhaps the most intriguing feature is the digital windscreen. It's a transparent display that shows driving data and geographical location information to create an augmented reality view.
Shallow underfloor batteries give the car a low centre of gravity and offer a range of nearly 300 miles. The 6 also utilises quick charging technologies, which Mercedes-Maybach says can increase range by more than 50 miles in less than five minutes.
