McLaren has released details of the new 570GT by MSO Concept, which is set to make its debut at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
The Woking-based manufacturer has a history of revealing concept and production models at the historic display of collector cars, previously revealing its halo P1 model as well as launching McLaren Special Operations at the event in 2012.
MSO is tasked with creating bespoke creations for well-heeled customers, and for this year's Pebble Beach display car, bosses tasked its team of craftsmen and engineers to 'further accentuate' the GT capabilities of its recently introduced 570GT model.
The most intriguing new addition is the electro-chromic glass roof, which offers customers five levels of tint. Each time a person touches the glass it cycles to the next phase of tint, from clear to near-blackout. This will be made available to 570GT customers soon.
While the 570GT is designed to be a quieter, more refined McLaren experience, MSO has created a new titanium exhaust system that it claims adds more character to the driving experience than the standard stainless steel item. It also has the added benefit of being 30 per cent lighter.
Inside, the MSO Concept receives a saddle tan design with bespoke gloss lacquer interior components, such as the door inserts.
The 2016 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance takes place on Sunday, 21 August.
