Racing car suddenly explodes during Nascar race

A driver was left bewildered, but thankfully unhurt, when his Chevrolet racing car exploded without warning during a recent Nascar Xfinity Series race.

Derrike Cope was coasting through the 'bus stop' section of Saturday's race with 23 of 82 laps remaining, when something under the bonnet exploded. This caused the front of the car to buckle and sent smoke pouring from the engine.
