Fiat Professional has announced pricing and specification for its new Fullback pick-up truck.
The vehicle has been named after the fullback position in rugby and American football, and has been designed to have the appearance of an up-market SUV.
The entry level Fullback is the SX model, which comes with a 2.4-litre turbo-diesel engine making 150bhp and 280lb/ft of torque. Its combined miles per gallon figure is 44.2 and CO2 emissions are rated at 169g/km.
As standard, the SX comes with a six-speed manual gearbox and on-demand four-wheel drive.
In LX trim, power is increased to 180bhp and torque is 317lb/ft. A full-time four-wheel drive system comes with four electrically-controlled settings, with a locking central differential to provide better traction while off-road.
Economy-wise the LX makes 42.2mpg and 172g/km of CO2 as a manual option and 39.2mpg and 189g/km in auto.
Standard equipment on the LX includes keyless go, bi-xenon headlights, enhanced body styling and a comfort-oriented 'Touring' suspension.
Inside, the LX gets electrically-adjusted and heated front seats, dual-zone climate control and a 6.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
Prices start at £20,995 excluding VAT, VED, delivery and plates for the SX trim, and the LX Auto tops the range at £24,395 excluding VAT and OTR charges. The LX manual splits the two at £22,995 excluding VAT and OTR charges.
The Fiat Fullback will be available to order from Fiat Professional dealers from 4 July.
