Formula One drivers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg have confirmed that they will be attending this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Topping the bill of other well-known stars of motor racing, the Mercedes-AMG F1 drivers will each take to the famous hill climb on separate days. Hamilton, behind the wheel of a 2014 Mercedes F1 car will undertake the route on Saturday, with Rosberg following on the Sunday. Hamilton drove the car in question to a World Championship Victory in 2014.
Currently, Rosberg holds the lead of this year's Formula 1 season with 24 points over his team mate. He tweeted "See you on Sunday at Goodwood" to fans this week.
Hamilton and Rosberg won't be the only members of the motorsport elite to attend the famous car event. Sir Jackie Stewart will be there, as will 2009 Formula 1 World Champion Jenson Button and Gymkhana star Ken Block.
This year's Goodwood Festival of Speed will take place from 23-26 June, having taken place every year since 1993. Placed within the grounds of Goodwood House in West Sussex, the event is one of the biggest on the motoring calendar, and includes such highlights as a moving motor show, as well as numerous high-speed runs with some of the fastest road and race cars in the world.
