Updated:

The moment an underground pipe exploded in Russia sending a car flying into the air was caught on camera recently.

The footage, which was filmed in Moscow, sees the large explosion send asphalt and water flying into the air as well as a parked car. The explosion also creates a large bang.

Large rocks and stones can be heard making impact with the camera car, as well as the vehicle parked behind it. As the dust settles, water and rubble is left on almost all of the cars in the vicinity of the explosion.

As a result of the exploded pipe, 12 cars were damaged. As well as this, a two-metre-wide pit was created. Thankfully there were no pedestrians around at the time, which meant that despite the size of the explosion, no injuries were reported. It is not known whereabouts in the city the incident occurred.
