The new series of Top Gear is set to include a new 'rallycross' style track, with celebrities due to pilot modified Minis around the off-road section of the circuit.
The new show, headed up by Chris Evans and Matt LeBlanc, will now feature a 'Star in a rallycross car' section.
Reports say that Brad Pitt was set to be the first celebrity to star on the show, but was forced to pull out at the last minute. He was replaced by actor Jesse Eisenberg and television chef Gordon Ramsay.
BTCC champion Matt Neale tweeted a photo of the new layout, saying: "New Top Gear 'star in a car' track might av [sic] rallycross bit AND a jump!"
Although the reports are yet to be confirmed, it does appear that the famous Dunsfold test track has had some structural changes.
It comes following reports that the filming of the live section of the show's first episode decended into chaos, with the audience leaving after four hours of filming. Evans had initially said that the show would be filmed in under an hour – though reports say that co-star LeBlanc struggled to deliver his lines correctly and that Evans repeatedly attempted jokes directed towards his predecessor Jeremy Clarkson.
