An incredibly rare Porsche 964 Turbo 'Flatnose' is going on sale in the UK.
One of only 12 right-hand-drive examples, the Flatnose was created to celebrate the end of the 964's production run, with only 76 built worldwide.
This particular car has just 630 miles on the clock, and produces 385bhp from its 3.6-litre flat six turbocharged engine. A X84 bodykit added to the car provided pop-up headlights from the 968, while larger air intakes and a modified front splitter separated the Flatnose from the rest of the range.
As a part of a private collection, this example has seen very little on-road action, with its sale now the first time it has ever been available to purchase after ownership by its original buyer.
Offered at Hexagon's new Finchley showroom, the Flatnose represents a huge opportunity for car collectors.
Paul Michaels, of Hexagon Classics, said: "At the time, only a select few were offered the 'Flatnose' models – they weren't publicised, they were almost 'under the counter'. Not only is this incredible 964 possibly the nearest thing to a brand-new Porsche 964 Turbo, it is also one of the rarest and most important time-warp Porsches we've ever had the pleasure of offering for sale.
Its exterior paint is remarkably unblemished, as is its black leather interior. As one of the highest-spec cars available at the time, it features an electric sun roof, automatic climate control and seats that are electrically adjustable.
An extremely rare car, the Flatnose will undoubtedly command a serious premium.
