Hundreds set to head to Beaulieu Porsche event

Simply Porsche is set to return to Beaulieu for the fourth time on Sunday 5 June.

A celebration of everything that has come from Stuttgart, the festival draws in a wide range of cars, from classics to the most up-to-date models available.

Porsche owners are able to park up their cars side by side and chat to fellow owners. Held in association with the Independent Porsche Enthusiasts Club, the event is open to Porsche cars of all ages.

Participants and visitors will also be able to vote for their favourite car of the show, in the People's Choice Awards. The owner whose car gains the most votes will receive a trophy, as well as a special Autoglym prize. The winning car will then lead a procession of Porsches through Beaulieu's grounds.

While there, visitors can take a tour of the On Screen Cars exhibition, as well as the World of Top Gear show. Here, visitors will be able to view some of the cars made famous by the motoring show, including the Toyota Hilux that Jeremy Clarkson attempted to destroy – and failed.

There's also the chance of seeing some exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of the show, providing a one-of-a-kind insight into how Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond operated both on and off the camera.

Those attending can also take a trip around Palace House or the ruins of Beaulieu Abbey, which was constructed in the 13th century.

Club stands are also available for those Porsche owners who would like to be able to park together.
