British company Prodrive has released an amazing video that documents the build of an Aston Martin V8 Vantage GTE FIA racer.
The time lapse footage manages to show the nut-and-bolt build in just 60 seconds. Although the video may appear quick, the real-time build took a staggering six weeks to complete.
Beginning with just the car's metal shell, the team of mechanics slowly but surely add wiring, suspension components as well as the car's brakes.
Soon after the car's body is added, along with a range of hoses coming from the engine. Spot lamps are fitted to the front of the car, and the racer's front splitter and side fins are put into place later on.
This particular Aston will compete in this season's FIA World Endurance Championship. Drivers Paul Dalla Lana, Pedro Lamy and Mathias Lauda will hope to pilot the car to victory in the upcoming event.
