Dentist cheats NHS of over £222,000 to fund his classic cars

A dentist from Surrey has been jailed for three years after falsely claiming more than £222,000 from the NHS to pay for his array of classic cars.

Mark Walewski, 68, from Tilford Road, Churt, Surrey was sentenced for two counts of evasion of liability by deception and two counts of fraud by abuse of position after he submitted claims for treatments that were already paid for or that he never carried out.
