Former Labour minister speaks out about emissions scandal

A former Labour minister has spoken out about the recent emissions scandal saying that diesel cars are "killing people".

Former science minister Lord Drayson has said that Tony Blair's Labour government made a mistake in promoting diesel cars, in particular when then Chancellor Gordon Brown lowered vehicle tax for diesel cars amid claims that they were less polluting.
