The Rugby World Cup begins this weekend, which means millions of fans are planning on enjoying a drink whilst watching the matches. To this end, road safety charity Brake is urging all match-goers to assist in tackling drink-driving by staying sober if driving.

Despite a crackdown in recent years, drink-driving remains one of the biggest threats to UK motorists, causing a massive one in seven accidents if a driver is over the limit. To compound this, an estimated 65 deaths per annum are the result of accidents involving a driver not over the drink-drive limit, but who still contains large amounts of alcohol in their bloodstream.
