TV star and car fanatic Chris Evans is selling 13 examples of his beloved motor collection at this year's Bonhams Goodwood Revival Sale.

Evans, who was recently announced as the host for a new version of the BBC's Top Gear, is selling the cars to refresh his collection and help raise money for Children in Need.
The sale features an impressive six Ferraris, each with an estimated value of more than £500,000. Evans has owned numerous cars throughout his career with both new and classic cars coming into his possession.

Sholto Gilbertson, Bonhams director of motor cars said recently: "In refreshing his collection, others will have the opportunity to enjoy Chris' fantastic cars – after all you never 'own' a classic car, you enjoy it, look after it, and pass it on for others to appreciate".

Going under the hammer is a 1966 Ferrari 275 GTB/6B Alloy, which has an estimated price of between £2,600,000 and £2,900,000. This will feature alongside a 1983 Fiat 127 Abarth and a 1936 Chitty Chitty Bang Bang replica.

Gilbertson added: "Chris has been a long-standing client of Bonhams, so we're delighted to offer his incredible motor cars at Bonhams' Goodwood Revival Sale."

More than 140 lots of Automobilia are being sold by Evans along with his impressive list of cars, with the proceeds going to the BBC's Children In Need charity.

The auction takes place as part of the Goodwood Revival, which is held across three days.
