Premiership footballer John Terry has revealed his newest purchase, a Ferrari 275 GTB.
The Chelsea captain took to Instagram to show off the car, which has a reported value of £1.5million.
With a 3.3-litre V12 engine producing between 280 and 300bhp, it was one of the fastest supercars of its time. It boasts a 0-60mph time of just over six seconds and still gives modern cars a run for their money today. The 275 GTB tops-out at a still impressive 160mph.
The famous Ferrari was produced between 1964 and 1966 and designed by legendary coachbuilders Scagletti. It was designed and produced under watch from Ferrari owner Enzo.
This particular car is finished in blue, which was no doubt picked due to the owner's home team colour.
The 275 GTB was sold by Tom Hartley Junior, whose website shows that he has experience in selling "the most significant luxury, performance and classic cars." His site features a Ferrari 212 Vignale Coupe and a Ferrari Daytona Spider.
Terry, whose team Chelsea were beaten 3-0 by Manchester City on the weekend, will no doubt take consolation in the fact that he has one of the world's rarest cars now in his possession. Terry was also substituted at half time during the game by manager Jose Mourinho.
