Aston Martin will be revealing its new 2016 DB9 GT at this year's Pebble Beach Automotive Week.
Based on the DB9 sports car, the GT looks to be every inch the world-class grand tourer it's designed to be.
With a 6.0-litre V12 producing 540bhp, the DB9 GT is the fastest DB9 variant yet. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed automatic gearbox, with double-wishbone suspension at both front and rear making the DB9 GT as involving to drive as possible.
The DB9 GT was revealed recently at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, though this is the first time that the car will be seen up close.
Aston Martin claims that the DB9 GT can reach 62mph from rest in just 4.5 seconds and go on to reach a top speed of 183mph. However, despite the power increase, the performance figures are the same as the standard DB9 except for the 0-62 time, which drops by 0.1 seconds.
With redesigned 20-inch alloys wheels, carbonfibre tail insers and a black front splitter, the DB9 GT does have visual differences over the standard DB9.
Inside, the seats now feature the GT logo and the steering wheel is finished in Alcantara. Despite these additions, the DB9 GT weighs exactly the same as the DB9.
The DB9 GT is due to go on sale in September for around £140,000 before the DB9 is replaced by an all-new model in 2017.
