If you mourn the demise of raucous V10 engines in F1 in exchange for the sanitised turbocharged motors that now fill the motorsport, it's time to reach for your credit card. Because a 1995 V10 F1 car – driven by racers Rubens Barrichello and Eddie Irvine – could now be yours, for the mere sum of £97,500.
For less than the list price of an Audi R8 V10 (£114,835 upwards, if you're asking), or the even pricier Lamborghini Huracan, this Jordan Peugeot F1 car could give you all of your V10 kicks, with bona fide history on the circuit – and a fresh V10 engine with zero miles on the clock.
Having recently been part of Eddie Jordan's personal collection, this F1 machine was driven by Brazilian Rubens Barrichello in no fewer than 11 races, with him chalking up a second place position in the Canadian grand prix in Montreal. Meanwhile, Eddie Irvine also piloted 'chassis 195/04' to fifth position at the end of season fixture in Australia. This Jordan Peugeot also scored a fourth spot at the Nurburgring in Germany, sixth at French circuit Magny Cours and Spa in Belgian, and 11th at Silverstone and in Estoril, Portugal.
