All-electric Formula E may not offer the sound effects that F1 is famous for, but it definitely still offers the same drama, with last weekend's Monaco race seeing an enormous pile-up on the iconic city circuit.
The race which took place on the tight, challenging track in the Mediterranean principality saw a huge crash on the first lap, with Bruno Senna – Ayrton Senna's nephew – launching his car over the top of fellow racer Daniel Abt's machine, as the cars ahead slowed.
Firing into the back of Abt's car, after rounding the first corner of the race, Senna was sent on to two wheels and only narrowly avoided flipping his car completely.
With the front of his car destroyed in the crash, Senna might have remained the right way up, but he had to retire because of the extensive damage.
