Audi has updated its flagship A8 limousine with greater levels of equipment and a new Sport trim level.
Replacing the current Sport Executive trim, Sport models come with racy styling details, including new bumpers and side skirts. Also included are LED headlights, a Bose sound system and internet connectivity through an in-car wireless hotspot.
The rest of the range has also benefited from extra kit, with entry level SE models now equipped with Valcona leather upholstery, double glazing and sat nav operated through a touch-sensitive media system.
Move up a level to SE Executive trim and you'll get keyless entry, a reversing camera, soft-close doors and electric front seats that can be adjusted 22 different ways.
The A8's diesel engine range has been revised, and now offers more power while emitting less CO2. The entry-level 3.0-litre V6 motor jumps 4bhp to 258bhp, while CO2 emissions drop from 155g/km to 149g/km, moving it down one car tax band. The 4.2-litre V8 TDI engine still has 380bhp, though CO2 emissions have dropped to 189g/km. Petrol engines, including the 493bhp 6.3-litre W12 and the 2.0-litre hybrid, are carried over unchanged.
The refreshed Audi A8 is available to order now, priced from £59,585. Sport models go on sale in June.
