Unemployment does funny things to people. After the initial euphoria of being able to get up late and lounge around in your pants (or is that just us?), the creeping sense of boredom soon begins to set in, and filling your time can prove to be a monumental struggle.
Recently unemployed former Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond is seemingly battling through this very struggle, following co-host Clarkson's fracas with producer Oisin Tymon a month ago.
Taking inspiration from colleague James May, who has been entertaining YouTube viewers with his recorder solos and cookery classes, Hammond has released his own directorial debut, captioned: 'this is a video about being bored'.
Tune in to see the 45-year-old presenter indulge in a bit of lying around on walls, sheep herding and having a pint in his local.
It's riveting stuff, we're sure you'll agree, but we'd rather see Hammond back on our screens on a Sunday night, if only for his mental well being than anything else.
